Health and wellness trends on TikTok come and go—but this one actually caught my attention. The “Sleepy Girl Mocktail” has been blowing up lately, and I finally gave it a shot. Cherry juice, magnesium, and a fizzy drink at night? It’s more legit than it sounds. But not all magnesium supplements are created equal—and most people don’t realize that your body might not absorb the trendy ones properly. In this video, I break down the ingredients, share what I really think, and talk about what’s worked best for me (after trying just about everything over the years). Let’s see if this one’s worth the hype.

the sleepy girl mocktail. You know, those means where Bill Cosby pops up, not actually funny, but funny. So good. There’s a reason why I have this every night.

I’ve been getting a lot of these videos from health and wellness trends on Tik TOK and every single day people comment and ask, I’m not so sure about these. So let’s watch them together and see what we think. The reason why you’re seeing everyone make the sleepy girl mocktail, it really helps you get the best sleep of your life.

I’m going to tell you how. First up, you need three ingredients, tart cherry juice, ollipop, and magnesium powder. You’re going to want to throw some ice into your favorite little glass and grab your tart cherry juice. Tart cherry juice is a natural source of melatonin.

It’s packed with antioxidants and nutrients. It aids sleep, but it also helps with muscle recovery, which is why this is also great to have at the end of the day after a hard workout. And then I’m going to mix in a scoop of magnesium powder. And then the last step in what’s really going to make this taste like a treat.

You want to know what my brain went to? Oh, you’re getting sleepy. You know, those memes where Bill Cosby pops up. Not actually funny, but funny.

So good. There’s a reason why I have this every night. I don’t really know what to say. It’s cherry juice, lemon car.

What? What’s the other thing? I was in my own zone there. Yeah.

But what’s the last thing she’s got a supplement there or what? Yeah. But what kind of magnesium more perennium stuff from the other one? I dig it actually.

I don’t know if I would do the exact combination that she’s doing, but I got nothing bad to say about it. I couldn’t tell exactly what the ingredients were in her magnesium supplement. Obviously I’m a little picky about that. What I’ve been using lately for myself with great results is a seven, eight, or nine variation magnesium supplement that I think is better than the other version because different folks bodies respond to different types of magnesium with better absorption.

And sometimes without

labs or something like a micronutrient testing or something like that. You wouldn’t know this. So a lot of times people are taking magnesium three and eight before bed at nighttime because they say that it helps with winding your brain down or stress response or this, that, and the other.

But you personally may not respond or absorb three and eight the best. There could be another one that’s better for you. So I like taking a multivariational version of this and I too like zero calorie, no sweetener, carbonated drinks in the evening. I don’t necessarily pair it with cherry juice, but I would try it.

I don’t know. Have you tried this? Should I try it? Do you think it has merit?

Let’s talk about it. Let me know in the comments.
