Which Clearlight Sauna to Buy During Black Friday?

If you already know you want a clear light sauna, picking the right model is the hardest part. I am Matt. I’ve tested over 40 saunas in the last seven years. I worked with thousands of people trying to find the right sauna for their needs. During Black Friday, people get overwhelmed. It’s a rush. You’re trying to get the best deal that you can. And it’s going to expire. It’s only while supplies or inventory last. And you just kind of end up guessing and weeing it. I don’t want that to happen this month for you, especially if you’re a group member all month long on certified saunas.

We’re breaking down every single sauna on the certified sauna list. Real reviews, real savings and the best verified Black Friday deals of the year. It won’t get any cheaper. Now is the time to buy. There are a few go to sauna brands on the certified sauna list that I’ve seen. They just hold their place on that certified sauna list. I mean, new new companies have come in this year, but one of those ones that hold the place on the certified sauna list is the clear light. And for me, I’ve seen you have I think it’s Clear White Sanctuary. What is it? Two? One. One.

That sauna is arguably one of the most beautiful saunas on the market. It is filming inside of it, having it as in the background and videos. It’s one of my favorite saunas to film in. The lighting is great. The overall sauna looks good. Not a lot of people are going to use these saunas the same exact way that you use them. Some of the clear light stuff is great. In some cases, I like other brands better. And then for other people, clear light’s the best option.

So let’s go over a few of those. Let’s go over some differences in build quality between Premier and Sanctuary models. And before we get too far down this rabbit hole, our clear light rep is Jen. If you have questions about compatibility of accessories, because a lot of clear light sanctuary models and premier models are pre-wired to add other things to them, like red light therapy, extra heater, the VRT system, the salt thing.

Jen is the best person to ask on whether or not you’re going to run into any issues with those. So her contact information will be below. And the build differences between the Premier and the Sanctuary are as follows. Premier models don’t have the all glass front, right? They also don’t come standard with the full spectrum heaters mounted to the back of the glass in the front. There’s some pros and cons to both of these we can get into later. There’s also a bunch of other videos on the YouTube channel that go into in-depth on this topic.

But really, a lot of the time when a sauna has an all glass front, there’s not an option to have frontal infrared, meaning there’s no heaters in the front because the glass is there. In the sanctuary models, they added the full spectrum emitters to that. So for some people, aesthetic is the most important thing. And for that, the clear light wins hands down. I mean, there’s no other sauna on the market that has the lighting aesthetic when you walk into a room.

If you’re claustrophobic, I mean, it’s the most open, spacious feeling. Even a one person feels gigantic, right? And so there’s just no competing with that. So if that’s you, this is probably the right move for you. The premier models, they feature more of a wooden wall construction, a little bit more insulative. They don’t have the heat leaking from the gas or the glass seams. They do have a weather stripping kit that you can add to rectify that. But the premier models, you don’t have to worry about that.

You also typically get far infrared panels in the two and three person models or anything larger than one person on the front wall, which is helpful. We’d like to see, you know, even coverage of far infrared around the body. We don’t like to see saunas where, you know, heat is lacking in it. If you look at reviews from some of the cheaper saunas, this is one of our complaints. We don’t want to have cold spots. We don’t want to have dead zones. We want to see blue on a FLIR gun. So the better you can get that, you know, the better your heat experience is going to be.

Clear Light Sanctuary One is what you see in my videos most of the time. As far as cabin size variations. You could take the same size sauna and give one an all glass front and the other a wooden front wall with windows. The all glass front is going to feel bigger every single time. It’s just the nature of the beach. So for those folks that are looking for that and want that open, spacious feel, it’s not going to get any better than we should definitely buy that. I know that everyone wants, you know, things to be a certain way. But the reality of it doesn’t matter what you like. That is going to feel bigger.

I assumed with no one sitting in it, that it’s a two person sauna because it is wide. No. But once I saw you sit in it, that is not a two person sauna. And can you kind of clarify sizing for people? Because someone might assume that when they look at the sizing thing online, it’s definitely a one person. I know it’s 36 inches wide. It looks huge. It could be 40 inches wide exterior to exterior, but. It’s probably one of the biggest saunas on the market. That’s a one person model. But if you. Put two people in there, you’re going to be scrunched up against the walls, sweating all over each other’s terrible experience.

People go for that because all the sanctuary models that are two person and up are going to require dedicated electrical. You can get away with no electrical upgrade on some premier models. If you have questions about that, again, I would contact Jen. She’s our go to rep that because you have to account for, you know, just because the sauna is prewired or an add on heater or an add on red there, red light therapy device doesn’t mean that you can just pile that on to a 20 amp circuit.

Sometimes you need to account for some headroom and want to add these accessories. So size, you know, immediately goes into electrical requirements, and that should also be a consideration in your overall cost. If you’re not able to get electrical done cheap in your area, different parts of the country, different rates and also different situations that no one accounts for. Some people are 90 feet away from their electrical panel and want to know why the wire is $700 to run that distance.

So there’s these individual things that you also need to pay attention to, depending on size accessories. Some of these larger sanctuary saunas specifically, they’re going to require a decent amount of power. What you touched on earlier with like the, you know, the add ons that you can do to this. This is this is, in my opinion, or from what I’ve seen, one of the only brands that is pre set up to have add ons, right? Oh, yeah. There’s a couple others where you can easily add some stuff.

But as far as pre wired, I mean, there’s there’s other situations where clear light is the only option for people. If you’re looking for a wheelchair compliant ADA sauna or a yoga sauna, there’s not a lot of companies make that they do. If you’re looking for what was the other thing? You’re looking for an outdoor sauna. They’re one of the only companies that make an outdoor infrared, you know. And so be the only option for a lot of folks. That’s changing.

You know, more and more companies are offering these products these days. But for many, many years, they were the only ones so wanted a reclining bench. Like if you’re a person that has sciatica and you want a sauna and do heat therapy or exercise, but you need to be in a certain position or else you get really uncomfortable. Clear Light was the only company that made it. So, you know, send a lot of people to Jen and had them help, you know, figure out the best solution and seating configuration for that need.

And you just can’t get that from other companies. So good fit there. It seems like as far as saunas go, brand wise, Clear Light is the one for tech. Like if you’re looking to upgrade, you’re looking to do these and you want tech inside of your sauna. Yeah, this seems like the one that has the it is it is centered around tech. Yeah, very much. It’s it’s 100 percent. Yeah, there’s there’s not a lot of other companies that have that as a whole package.

Yeah, they’ve had a little difficulty with the app and stuff here and there. If you have the wrong router, it won’t connect or smartphone. I don’t use that stuff. So I’m not the end all. We just send people to Jen for that. There’s not a lot of companies that have the lighting, you know, the stereo Wi-Fi, if that’s this is all the stuff that you want, the remote connectivity and turn on the ability to add a red light therapy panel inside. It’s pre-wired salt thing, the BRT thing.

There’s yeah, you’re right. There’s a lot of flexibility. It’s probably one of the most flexible product offerings. It might not be the best performance that you get. There’s a lot of arguments about certain things. In my experience, those things don’t matter that much. You know, you should tick the boxes on the really important things for your individual needs before you worry about stuff like that. That’s kind of like. Things that are. Semantics.

Yeah, so I’ve owned my clear light for many, many years now, probably four and a half, I believe, and no issues with it. Rock solid takes a little bit longer to heat up than some of my other saunas and other houses, but love it. A lot of people love them. And you just you can’t beat the aesthetic. There’s nothing else that looks like it. There’s nothing else that is as open and spacious feeling. If that’s if that’s you, this is a win for you.
