I’ve got a little unboxing video to do today.
Our friends over at, I think you pronounce it PLEMO, P-L-E-M-O, contacted me.
They saw some of the sleeping masks that I bought on Amazon and reviewed on YouTube, and they wanted to know if I would be open to testing out theirs.
And I said, “Absolutely.”
So they sent me a few of these to check out, do a little review.
I think there’s a couple in the box.
I really don’t know.
But it’s from our friends over at PLEMO.
I think they’re a new seller on Amazon.
From the pictures, it looked like some of the masks were very similar to…

So this is an 834 eye mask.
I don’t know if that is their brand.
I like the packaging though.
This is very similar to one that I tested out before.
This is one that’s very popular with females.
It has a big rim around the side.
But if you have a larger face and say, deeper eyelashes, I remember this one.

It’s very comfortable.
Like, I would definitely wear this for napping or meditation.
I wouldn’t be able to sleep in it.
For one thing, it has the double Velcro on the back of the head, which is just too thick for me.
When you put this between your head and the pillow, it’s just a little too thick.
But for napping and meditation, this is awesome.
Really good design.
Another thing is, it doesn’t smell bad.
A lot of stuff that comes from overseas smells bad.
But this PLEMO is actually pretty good quality.
I’m surprised.
Not a “not knocking them” or anything, or you guys if you happen to watch this.
But, ooooh, I’ve never had one of these.

This is pretty cool.
What do they call it?
PLEMO sleep mask.
So I’m sure you know what this is.
You can either heat this up or put it in the freezer and cool it down.
And it’s almost like a hot cold therapy massage.
Like if you’re a person that gets headaches or anything like that, what you can do is…
Man, I’ve always wanted to try one of these.
This can also be another great thing if you don’t have access to a sauna or you don’t have time to take a bath.
One of the things that can really help you sleep better is to do hot cold therapy or just to make your body have a sensation of warmth before you go to sleep.
And it kind of preps you and soothes you.
So if you were to heat this up before bed and create like a new healthy night time ritual or if you’re a person that has headaches, this might really help you to put this on and either read a book or just get really relaxed right before bed.
Maybe take a little magnesium, use a little magnesium lotion that you see in some of my other review videos.
It’s what I do before sleep.
And really just relax all the muscles and stuff around the eyes.

This is kind of cool.
You see what they’ve done?
They’ve created these pockets right here to kind of take up more space where the light usually creeps in.
I wonder if they might be onto something with this.
Of course I don’t like the double Velcro but that’s just a pet peeve of mine.
Some people it doesn’t bother but me it definitely bothers.
It’s just thick between my head and the pillow.
And let me try this sucker on.
This is different.
This is way different than anything else I’ve ever tried.

Kind of surprising me.
First impressions, I do have the camera lights on and I can kind of see a shadow from my hands because the fabric isn’t black.
Does let a little light in.
But I’m wondering because this is kind of like a little pillow or a little ledge that you can put stuff in.
I’m wondering if this is for hot and cold packs as well.
Or it definitely isn’t for this one.
But I’m wondering if you put hot and cold packs in this or if that’s just the design of this particular sleep mask.
Because if that’s the case there would be something else in front of your eyes also that would block out more light.
But just right out of the box it’s kind of cool.
It does not block out as much light, nearly as much as the first one, the black one.
I definitely have light penetration through here.
I’ll have to read up.
I didn’t ask for these models specifically so I’ll have to read up and see what each one of these is for.
Obviously this is a dedicated sleep mask.
This of course is not.
This is more like a relaxation mask.
Maybe this is for a different purpose that I’m not aware of.
But I’ll do a little research and then figure out what it’s used for and then try it myself and do a follow up video.
But so far I’ve really got to hand it to these guys.
The build quality of the Plymo stuff, just the bands is better quality than some of the others.
I know I keep saying it over and over but I don’t like the double velcro.
The things that I do like are the actual stitching and the manufacturing quality.
This is very similar to another brand that I tried.
This however, like I said, is unlike anything that I’ve ever tried.
And I’ve got to look up and see exactly what this is for and I’ll do an update video.
