In this video we take a close look at the LifePro two person infrared sauna and compare it directly to the one person model that has been getting so much attention lately. The 1-person setup has made a name for itself because of the heater coverage and the overall value at the price point. But the big question people keep asking is whether the two person version is built the same way or if the layout changes enough to hurt performance.
Heater layout is what makes or breaks a sauna session, and that’s why this comparison matters. Some brands change the cabin design and heater placement from one size to the next, and it completely changes the experience. So we go through the differences, what to look out for, and why heater coverage on the lower half of the body is such a big deal for sweat quality and heat-up times.
If the LifePro two person keeps the same strengths as the one person unit, it could be one of the best values on the market. But until we test it directly, here’s what you should be paying attention to so you don’t end up with a weaker layout than you expect.

I would watch out for that. I’m not saying that LifePro is doing anything nefarious intentionally. I’m just saying certain sauna models, the heater layout changes drastically, which changes the performance. So I would want to make sure that that’s in line with what I love about the LifePro One Person, and then go from there, because that’s really going to make or break your sauna session.
Is the LifePro Two Person sauna as good as the One Person, heater layout, price, value, etc.? The LifePro One Person has been making some wake, some impact in the sauna community, because it’s a lot of value for the price. Well, they put it on Black Friday sale too. It’s almost $1,500. There’s not a cheaper deal on the planet, really, for now, but I don’t think that’s going to last anyway. They’ll sell out like they did before.
You’ve reviewed the One Person. You like it. Yeah. I like it. Works good. So there’s a couple things that I particularly like about this LifePro that I think are best in class or beat out other models that are the same exact price in the marketplace. Specifically, people like to compare this to the Costco sauna, which I think is a fair comparison. In my opinion, this is like $1,750, maybe sometimes a little cheaper if you use the group buy discount that’s in our Facebook group.
What I want to point out to you is that this is $1,750. The Costco model is like $1,950. So for a couple hundred bucks less, not only do you get control panel on the outside and the inside, it mirrors each other. You also get better heater coverage because you have heaters in the floor and heaters on the sidewalls. If you look at my individual review videos, you’re going to see that some particular models in this price range either come without floor heaters, which leaves your feet feeling a little cold and no sweat from the knee down, or without sidewall heaters or without both.
And this isn’t limited to the $1,000, $2,000 price range saunas either. If you look at something higher end like a $5,000 or a $4,000 Sunlighten, like a Signature Series or something like that, unless it’s an Amplify model, there’s really not a lot of heat coverage down low. There’s no, there’s nothing under the bench. There’s no calf heater. The floor heaters can be relatively weak just as a comparison for you. So this is a feature set that I would encourage you to really look out for. It’s not really price dependent. It’s more of brand design dependent. And I would really, this makes or breaks your sauna session.
If you can stay within your budget, whatever that is, and get a better heater layout, you’re going to get a better sweat, you’re going to get faster heat up times, and you’re going to get a more even keeled heat experience throughout your sauna session and you’ll like it a lot better. What do you think about the two-person? Have you had a chance to look at it? I don’t know, man. I have the one person, I have the cozy and they’re drastically different and the two-person looks drastically different too. A lot of people have asked questions about it. I haven’t commented on it because I don’t have one.
I usually don’t like to comment on stuff where, you know, when you look at certain brands of sauna, like Iranian Health, all the guts in the sauna regardless of model are all the same. Other companies don’t necessarily do that. They change the design of the cabin. They change the window placement. They change, you know, a lot of stuff. Just look at the differences between these. One of the things that I would encourage you to look for, and it’s what I would be looking for if I had one here, and when we get a chance to test one, I will and I’ll tell you what I think.
In the meantime, you know like the Costco saunas, some people say they’re so great and then in some areas, people will say like, oh, I got such and such a model and it has heaters in the floor and then everyone else says, well, all the saunas at my Costco don’t have heaters in the floor just like ours. I would watch out for that. I’m not saying that Life Pro is doing anything nefarious intentionally. I’m just saying certain sauna models, the heater layout changes drastically which changes the performance. So I would want to make sure that that’s in line with what I love about the Life Pro one person and then go from there because that’s really going to make or break your sauna session.
One of the reasons that we like the Life Pro so much over the Costco is because it works better at lower temperatures and I’m not talking about lower temperatures in the cabin. I’m talking about a 60 degree room. You put the Costco sauna in a cold room, it’s really going to suffer. It’s already suffering in a hot room in Florida. There’s no heater coverage on the lower half. You know, go watch the other videos. My legs are cold and dry when I get out. It’s like, where’s the sauna session? Maybe it’s still a good buy in most people’s eyes from Costco but for me, where I’m focused on the heat therapy, I get out of the Costco and I’m like, well, where’s my sauna session? I’m kind of like wasting my time here sitting in this thing. So when I get out of the Life Pro, I’m drenched.
Is it perfect? No. Are there build quality things that I would change? Yeah. Is there EMF that I would lessen? Yeah. Is there like, you know, I don’t know, nitpicky things that I could say about it? Absolutely. But on sale for almost $1,500, $1,600, nothing else touches it. And if the two person is anything like that, I don’t think you can go wrong.
