A member of our Facebook group recently asked about a rumor she saw online — someone claimed Heavenly Heat saunas might have high EMF levels. I wanted to clear this up fast, so I jumped into a quick real-world test and filmed it for you.

Hey Merrill, saw your question. Don’t really know the context, but I mean, your question is easy enough to answer in about 30 seconds. Here’s a meter, here’s a heavenly heat sauna. Obviously this is not the red light therapy model, but in theory, this should be worse EMF wise because it’s smaller.

So most of the emissions are closer to your body. I saw your questions. I don’t really understand the context. I didn’t see any pictures or videos or anything of some high levels.

I’m gonna show you the right way to assess this thing. I have no idea if that’s exactly what you’re looking for from another party or not. I saw your thing about the other Facebook group or some other group. I think that’s the one that’s owned by employees that work at a sauna company.

So I usually don’t respond to those, but I think this is what you’re looking for. So magnetic fields are really good in all the heavenly heat models. And the sauna is on by the way. But I wanna show you, like if I really wanted to, I could generate a hotspot.

This is only half the EMF by the way. Most people aren’t switching to electric and showing you both. Heavenly heat takes care of this and they do a really, really good job. Seated body position.

It’s not gonna be zero because this is a really small sauna. So your body is gonna be about, you know, an inch or so away from the rail. But what I want you to understand is that every single heater has a power cord on the back of it.

And there is a place where the wire goes into the back of it. And if I find that exactly, like I’ll search for it, there’s one in here in every single sauna. And if I can find where the connector is, you’ll see a spike. There it is right there.

Right? So what is that about? Every single sauna has this in it. So if I wanted to cherry pick and create like some type of a screenshot that makes it look like it has high EMF in it, I could do that.

But one of the ways that you can tell that’s what’s going on is by checking the electric fields, which is what most people don’t do. Right?

So this is really, really good. Even if you take this thing and shove it in there, which your body can’t actually go back that far, it’s a pretty good representation of, you know, a total low emission sauna. And just so you know that everything is working correctly, you’ll always get electric fields, magnetic fields next to a control panel, a light, or something like that.

But where your body sits in the seated body position is really, really, really good. This is better than the majority of saunas on the market. And as you can tell, I mean, it took like 45 seconds for me to show this to you. So there’s no reason to point you to some report or type out some long post or, you know, do this or do that.

Quality saunas built well, definitely stand up to, you know, the way that they’re marketed. And I noticed that a lot of people online are saying a bunch of stuff, but unwilling to just pick up a camera, pick up a meter, walk over and show you. It’s really not that difficult.

I don’t know why it needs to be any more complicated than that.
