Best Sauna In 2026? ONLY Buy This One

Matt Avatar

If you search YouTube for “best infrared sauna” or “only sauna you should buy”, you’ll usually hear the same answer over and over again. One brand. One model. One “magic” feature you’re apparently doomed without.

Here’s the problem: that’s not how saunas work—and it’s not how the market works.

In this video, I break down the entire sauna landscape in 2026—from $300 budget saunas to $20,000+ high-end builds—and explain why anyone telling you there’s only one right sauna isn’t giving you the full picture.

Most influencers and reviewers you see online:

Are locked into exclusive dealer contracts

Can only recommend one brand

Get paid only if you buy that specific sauna

Conveniently ignore options that don’t fit their agreement

That’s how people end up pigeonholed, confused, and convinced they’ll never detox or heal unless they buy one exact product with one exact “special wavelength.”

Spoiler: that’s not true.

In this video you’ll learn:

Why sauna benefits do NOT depend on a single brand or wavelength

How heat therapy and infrared actually work (without the hype)

What you realistically get at different price points ($300–$20k)

Why budget saunas can work for the right person

When premium saunas actually make sense—and when they don’t

How to spot biased reviews vs real guidance

If you live in an apartment, a house, a cold basement, a garage gym—or you’re just trying to stay healthy without burning cash—this video is for you.

My goal isn’t to sell you a sauna.

It’s to help you buy the right sauna for you.

So you’re trying to figure out if this sauna stuff is for you, which models you should buy this year. You’ve got questions, you see my videos, you hear a lot of stuff, you know, on the internet.

And today, since you joined my group, I want to answer your question personally. And I want to be the first to tell you that, you know, while this sauna in this particular video and a bunch of other saunas in other videos, you know, we really love and recommend and think they do, you know, great things for people.

There is something for every single budget. It doesn’t matter if this fits your budget or not. One of the things that you can’t find online is people who are actually honest. And the most honest thing that somebody could tell you is to not buy what they’re selling.

And so for me, I want to make this video for you so that you know that we have recommendations everywhere from like 300, $350 all the way up to $20,000 and everything in between. And as you’ll see in the group, there’s a reason why there’s 30 or 40,000 people in there.

I don’t allow sauna salespeople to push or shove stuff onto people, especially things that they don’t need or aren’t a good fit for them. Why? Because that’s what happened to me. I wouldn’t have the motivation to do this, um, as much as I do.

And I’ve been fighting a cold, you know, I haven’t been able to shake it even with all this health equipment. Right. It’s, it’s taken me out for over a week now. My voice was messed up. So I’m behind on videos behind on answering questions.

But to have one video that you could point somebody to and say, this is the only sauna that you should buy in 2026. What I’m really saying is the only thing you should be buying is what’s right for you. What’s within your budget.

You’re going to hear a lot of stuff online. A lot of it seems plausible. You’ve got to have this wavelength, you’ve got to have this emissivity. Oh, you’ve got to have a full spectrum. You’ve got to have red light therapy. Oh no, you can’t use, you know, a carbon sauna. You got to have a ceramic emitter. You know, they’re hotter. You got to do this and you got to do that.

Oh, you got to spend the money on this. Guys. A lot of these messages aren’t tailored for your unique needs or your situation. They’re just tailored for the sales agent who is coming to you, you know, from a store where they’re allowed to sell certain brands or they’re a dealer for certain brands.

And a lot of times those require exclusivity agreements. And what that means is they’re not allowed to like or sell or show you other products or else they lose their dealership. So of course you’re going to hear stuff that is like, oh, you need this and it’s proprietary and this emissivity and this wavelength and yada, yada, yada.

I can tell you from testing almost 50 of these things in the last several years, there’s not a 90% difference between them. Even the ones that I say I like, it’s not like, you know, you’re going to get some super califragilistic, I know they give them fancy names, right? Like, oh, this super wavelength, you know, blah, blah, blah heater.

It’s basically a war of the sauna companies or stores, you know, fighting against each other to prove to the other one that one’s better than another, to try to get your attention and your money. But that doesn’t mean that it’s right for you.

You know, the most honest thing that somebody could ever tell you is just don’t buy, don’t buy this. You know what I mean? The only thing that you should be buying is what fits your needs, what fits your budget and is actually going to give you heat therapy.

If there’s one phrase that I would like to be known for, for all my years of work, it’s just be sweating, just be sweating. If you don’t like what some guy on the internet likes, so be it.

If you don’t like what’s not offered in your area and you have to buy something online, so be it. If you don’t like what your hot tub store or your pool and spa place or whatever is allowed to sell because they’re in geographical territories that don’t allow them to ship across state lines or in another county for that matter, so be it.

I mean, you have to realize that these things are going on. So a lot of the information that you’re getting comes from people that are stuck in, you know, those situations that I’m describing.

So whether I like something or don’t like it, that doesn’t make it right or wrong for you. You know, there’s a thousand videos on the YouTube channel. I’ve put so much effort into this. It couldn’t be any more clear.

Implement heat therapy into your life so that you can get the health and longevity benefits. However you do it is up to you. Do not let somebody push you into a situation, a product, a bunch of informational nonsense that keeps you spinning your wheels for months and months like I did.

You won’t do anything for a year. The problem, the real issue is that it’s not that you didn’t buy this brand or you didn’t get this feature or you don’t have this heater type. It’s that there’s another year where your body will not experience health benefit from heat therapy.

Go look up the research papers and studies on heat therapy and if you think you need a traditional sauna and you got to do this and you got to blah blah blah temperature for heat shock proteins, why don’t you go look at jacuzzis or what they’re able to do with hot baths.

A lot of that stuff has been debunked even though some top researchers don’t want to acknowledge it. It’s out there if you want to check, right? Why am I so passionate? Because this stuff helped me change my life for the better and I’ve watched it help thousands of other people also implement the detox protocols, do the simple stuff like taking intestinal binders, doing a sweep, doing a detox run.

It doesn’t have to be anything crazy. You don’t have to spend a lot of money. You don’t have to do complicated chelation that’s going to tax your adrenals and just leave you more exhausted than when you started or do any of these 65 day crazy protocols at 200 degrees.

Guys, this stuff is nonsense half the time. So just an honest reminder from me, me, I run this group, I run the YouTube channel, I’ve put all the effort into this. I’m the one that was going to the hospital five days a week.

When I tell my health story, this is like my real life that I have lived that gives me the motivation and to want to make the style of content that I do. And I’m telling you right now, the only thing that you should be buying this year is what fits your budget, your needs, your space, your electrical requirements.

Notice how I haven’t mentioned any videos or brands in this video. It’s not about a brand, right? A lot of what I talk about is the design of the sauna is the heater layout. Why? Because the design of the sauna, regardless of brand, is going to determine whether or not it performs for you.

If it doesn’t perform for you, you’re just wasting your money. So I could like a brand, love a brand, hate a brand, right? It doesn’t really matter. How well does it make you sweat? Are you getting your money’s worth for the time that you spend in there?

Do not let anyone else on the internet tell you any different because whether I like it or they like it or they hate it and I like it or whatever combination that you can find, at the end of the day, if you’re not implementing the heat therapy and getting what you need on a weekly basis, how are you going to get the health benefit?

Yet everyone seems to be a professional at derailing everyone with this crazy information that talks about, you know, this proprietary blah, blah, blah. But my thing is I’ve tried those and they’re not creating a 90% difference.

So if it’s not a 90% difference, you have to tell me that doing something is better than doing nothing. So for somebody that gets the wrong brand because they don’t have the budget, they don’t have the space, they can’t upgrade their electrical, they can’t do this and they can’t do that.

All of a sudden, because it’s not a finished sauna, because you’re not pouring water on the rocks and having lolly, you’re not doing this, you’re not doing that. You’re doing the best that you possibly can to implement heat therapy in your apartment or your townhouse or whatever situation you’re in, where you can’t upgrade the electrical or just don’t have the money for it.

I didn’t have the money for a lot of this stuff at one time, right? It’s like, who is the voice of reason when it comes to these situations? Because that’s what we’re actually faced with. And the real solution is the phrase, just be sweating.

I don’t care if you have to put superheated water in your bathtub. If that’s what you got to do, that’s what you got to do. If you only have a $300 budget, we have the DIY sauna that you can make for almost nothing.

You could get a portable tent sauna in my Amazon profile. You could get any of the number of the affordable saunas that we recommend. Are they going to be perfect? Probably not. Is somebody going to say, you know, this brand is better and da, da, da, da? Sure.

Do I make videos like that too and say, Hey, I like this and I don’t like this and da, da, da? Absolutely. Does that automatically make either one of those situations or people or opinions right for your needs? Not necessarily. Sometimes it’s wrong for you, right?

And the best thing that you could possibly do is focus on implementing heat therapy because at the end of the day, that’s the only thing that’s going to make a difference for you. Whether you listen to me or listen to someone else, it doesn’t matter.

It’s your implementation of this that is going to be the driving force for change and health improvement in your life. So instead of trying to like someone’s opinion or let someone think you’re doing a good job, making a good choice or that you have the best of this or the best that focus on implementation.

Am I implementing heat therapy three times a week? It’s either a yes or a no. If it’s a no, you need to do whatever you got to do to get that to happen. If it’s a yes, just ask yourself, are my sweat sessions adequate? If it’s a yes, just keep doing what you’re doing.

Stop listening to everyone, right? If it’s a no, well make some modifications. I show you how to add heat lamps and stuff into saunas that don’t perform well. There’s a bunch of stuff on the market that I don’t really like that much.

But you know what? If you have it, I’m not going to leave you high and dry. I’m going to show you how to improve it.

To show you how to put heat lamps in there or some type of supplemental heat and get your body sweating because that is what’s going to change your life. It’s you using it. It’s you implementing. It’s not having the right brand, having the right size.

Everyone’s like, oh, but I want to put my feet up and lay down. You know what? Guess what? That’s a luxury. I didn’t have that choice. I do now. But when I started, I didn’t. And guess what? I wouldn’t have gained the mental capacity to do better at my job and make more money.

How many years ago now doing all kinds of different stuff? I’ve been involved in several businesses. If it weren’t for, oh, using an uncomfortable sauna or building a DIY shower pole sauna in my stupid shower with some insulation board from Home Depot.

If you haven’t seen my story, you have no idea how we got here. It doesn’t seem like it, but I’ve been through every single situation that people encounter with these things. That’s how I’m able to just pick up a camera and make videos like this.

You know, we don’t need all this crazy pamphlet and brochure and website and pull this up and that. For what? I’ve tried it. I’ve done it all. The only thing that’s going to make a difference for you is implementation. Do not let anyone tell you any different.
