In the last infrared sauna comparison I did, all these saunas were good except this one brand. I thought it would be updated for 2019, but the reports are in and it’s still not any better than last year. I would avoid at all costs if you can, the build quality is still pretty bad.

Oh, you like provocative title, huh?
All these infrared saunas are good, except this one.
A little bit click-baity, but also true.
So I got an email here, and basically it’s just asking about different types of cheaper saunas on Amazon.
There’s some relabels on there, there’s some Maxis sauna, there is a Radiant sauna by Blue Wave, which you know that I bought, and it was probably the worst sauna that I’ve ever tested, and because of that I had to put out separate videos to illustrate that Radiant Health saunas is not the same as the knock-off Radiant sauna by Blue Wave that you can get on Amazon, the one that I bought first.
But many people are confused about that, so I had to go back and create videos and explain that because I was getting some hate mail.
People were like, “Hey, you said this sauna company sucked, now you’re endorsing it.”
And so I had to explain that one, it’s not the same company, one’s a knock-off.
It’s like your lady buying a Chanel bag on eBay and then realizing that it’s not really a Chanel bag, or Louis bag, or I don’t know.
I’m not into that kind of stuff, I’m probably butchering the names.
But anyway, all these infrared saunas are good except this one.
So this lady sent me an email and it’s asking about these Maxis saunas, the Radiant sauna.
I think there was J and H in there as well, but there was also something from, let me see, I can’t remember the exact name of it.
It was from Home Depot.
And so basically I just wanted to put a video together to let you guys have kind of like an inside look at which ones are good and which ones are terrible.
As a general rule, most of the ones on Amazon really aren’t that great.
You’ve got your J and H, you’ve got your Dynamic from the Costco, you can see my reviews on those.
You’ve got some other Blue Wave products, you’ve got some Relabels, that’s what I’m looking for right now.
There are some Canadian Hemlock, you know, whatever, saunas that are basically, they’ve been rehashed every which way to Sunday, right?
So next year, the exact same, if you save the picture on your computer or your phone, right, and you wait a year and you go back on Amazon or you go back on any of these websites and you do a search for infrared sauna and you find one that looks like that, guaranteed that there’s going to be another one with a different name but the same picture.
So these things get rehashed and rehashed and rehashed and rehashed.
And so essentially, I can’t find it, but what she sent was another one of these Relabels like the Maxis.
All these saunas are made by a company called Golden Designs.
And so they’re one of the largest manufacturers that creates white label products for tons and tons of different sauna companies.
And when I say sauna company in quotes, that means obviously not the manufacturer, just basically a sauna company that has a brand that orders saunas from Golden Designs and then they stick their brand on it and you know, blah, blah, blah.
As a general rule, these saunas don’t have magnetic fields mitigated.
So you’re going to have high EMFs in there.
Generally the ones that do have magnetic fields mitigated do not have electric fields mitigated.
So I have never seen a Golden Design sauna that has really low body voltage like you’d find from a sauna on the certified sauna list.
So as a general rule, I would avoid those.
There are a couple of, you know, there are a couple caveats to that like the Radiant sauna that is a carbon model versus the ceramic.
If you go back and watch my old reviews to try to see, you know, what the saunas look like that you want to avoid, the one that tested the worst had those red felt covered heaters on it, right?
And so that’s a ceramic model, completely unshielded, unmitigated.
And I wasn’t even testing for body voltage back then.
So we don’t even know what the body voltage is in that because that sauna was so high, I wouldn’t use it and I sent it back.
So of all the brands that you could settle on, I would definitely avoid that one.
Okay, guys, if I missed something or something else you want to know, let me know in the comments.
I’ll add it to the queue for next week’s video.
As always, if you’re not subscribed, I’m getting ready to start a new sauna channel dedicated to heavy metal detox and a couple of other health things.
So if you’re not subscribed, make sure to subscribe.
I’ll see you in tomorrow’s video.
