Alright, today’s infrared sauna question is, are clear light saunas really worth the money?
I saw a Costco sauna that looked like the one you bought in your reviews but a bit different.
It’s $600 less, so if I can save a few bucks I’d like to.
What say you?
Are the clear light saunas really worth the bucks?
Well in my opinion yes, but I don’t really know what you’re comparing it to other than the Costco sauna.
I mean if you saw my Costco sauna review, it’s a dynamic sauna by Golden Designs, unless they come out with some new model or something that actually has the electric fields and the magnetic fields mitigated.
That was a super high EMF sauna.
I mean it had 100 mG magnetic fields all over the panel right next to your shoulder.
That’s a one or a two person sauna, I mean you’re sitting right next to it.
And back then I wasn’t even testing for electric fields, so God knows what the body voltage or the electric fields would be.
Now I don’t know if you’re going to like my opinion.
My opinion is that saving $600 isn’t worth it.
It doesn’t matter what brand you choose.
For you to get a low EMF sauna that you’re going to use for the next 10, 20 years, it’s totally worth $600.
If you decide, even if you just divide 10 years into $600, that’s $60 a year.
Is it worth it to me for peace of mind, an extra $60 a year to have a low EMF or hardly any EMF sauna, like a safe environment, so if I have children or grandchildren or spouse or something and I can stick them in there or somebody has cancer, I don’t have to worry about it exacerbating that stuff?
100%.
I mean it could be $6,000 over the next 20 years and I’d probably still choose that.
That would only be $600 a year.
So yeah, I think they’re worth the money.
I don’t really know what you’re looking at because you didn’t specify a model, but I would have to be a pretty cheap one, I would imagine, if you say that a dynamic is…
Well, that’s not true.
I guess it could be a four-person dynamic and a four-person clear light.
Then if it’s only $600 more, I would definitely get the clear light.
I’m not sure if you saw the list of certified saunas, but those are the top saunas for 2019 and beyond.
I mean, I just did new EMF testing this year and the saunas that ranked the best, Radiant Health was number one, Clear Light Premier was number two, and Hi-Tech Health TR2 was number three.
Any of those saunas would be definitely worth the money.
If a clear light is $600 more than what you’re looking at, I would say Hi-Tech Health is going to be out of your budget.
It’s probably going to be $1,500 more than you’re looking at with the dynamic or the Costco sauna.
But you might check out Radiant Health.
They’re a little bit cheaper than Clear Light and if I were going to buy a new sauna for myself today, that’s what I would choose.
But nothing wrong with a Clear Light either.
I mean, they have better financing terms if that’s what you’re looking for.
So it’s all about what you’re looking for.
What I would recommend is go check out the list of certified saunas.
Hopefully by the time you see this video, certifiedsaunas.com will be done and it will have all the reviews up there for you.
But if not, you can find them on my blog, Clever Leverage, and I hope that helps you.
