The 2 and 3 person corner infrared saunas size (based on the model name) may not be congruent. Want to touch on the best size for a home corner infrared sauna for two people. While the Radiant Health corner sauna is awesome and everyone loves it, there may be a discrepancy between the model name and the actual size. This video and the other corner sauna video reviews to follow, should clear it right up!
The infrared saunas for 3 people really need to take into consideration if we’re only talking adults, or it it includes children. The 2 person infrared saunas are great, but the corner sauna makes sitting next to each other much more comfortable. Hey guys, wanted to make a quick video here.
Let me turn on the lights.
This is a Radian Health 3-person corner saw, and I got some really good feedback from a customer and a YouTube commenter named Josh.
He purchased one of these based on my recommendation, and he gave me some really, really, really good feedback.
And one of the things that he said was, and hopefully the reason for me making this video is because I don’t want to mislead anybody.
He said that this particular sauna is called an EC3H, right?
And that is, I guess, labeled as a three-person sauna.
I hope that I have never portrayed this sauna as a three-person sauna.
If I have, that is definitely not what I would call this.
I use this sauna by myself.
There’s definitely enough space in here for a spouse to use it with you, but by no means would I consider this a three-person sauna.
So if you happen to be looking for a two or a three-person infrared sauna, what I would like to do in this video is kind of, and it might be a little shaky, just bear with me for a second.
This is not how I usually film my videos, but what I want to do is show you the layout, show you the size person that I am, and then kind of just go through and show you how you would sit in here.
Because, and I’m going to do my best, this is really difficult to move around with the gimbal dealio.
So here I am inside the sauna, and you can kind of see where I’m sitting.
It’s a 45 degree angle on the front, and there is a 90 degree bench on the back.
So I’m sitting on the right-hand side.
Let me shut the door.
I’m sitting on the right-hand side of the door when you walk in.
There’s a window to my left, and this is what it looks like to my right.
And so there’s a window over there for the other, I was going to say other passenger.
The control panel is here.
And then there’s plenty of space for somebody else to sit here.
I guess you could put a child or another person or something like that here.
I wouldn’t personally do that.
And I think maybe that’s where people are getting the idea that you could potentially use this as a three-person sauna.
To me, this is a two-person sauna.
I don’t have any control over how the labels are.
If it’s an EC3H and EC3 is supposed to indicate three-person, I’m sorry.
I don’t have any control over that, but it is definitely not what I would consider a three-person.
If I were going to label it, it would be an E2CH or something like that.
So anyway, well, let me keep the door closed for just a second.
So I’m sitting here on this side and let’s just get up and move to the other side.
Now I’m sitting in the exact same position, just on the other side, and you can see the exact same thing.
So I’m not sure, I definitely don’t want to be proposing that this is a three-person sauna, regardless of what the model is or any of that stuff.
It’s definitely a two-person sauna to me.
The way that I would use this sauna is I would sit here, I would have the other person sit there and then we have this one foot by one foot square to put our towels.
You don’t really need a place to put water and stuff like that because you’ve got a cup holder here and then I also have my own cup holder over here.
And then you’ve got the control panel.
There’s also a stereo and stuff up here.
There’s the color therapy lights.
I don’t have the sauna turned on right now so that I can actually make this video for you and not be sweating.
That’s always nice.
And then we have our ventilation control up there and of course, glass door in the front.
I know I’ll try to get somebody else, when my cousin comes to run the camera here, I’ll try to get him to record another one of these videos so that you can really see how big it is and stuff like that.
And the lawn care people are going crazy out there, so sorry if you can’t hear me.
But basically, this is probably, I don’t know, 50 something inches wide.
And I’m not talking about the actual width of the sauna.
I’m talking about from this corner to this corner.
So I don’t think that I would really…
Let me flip the camera around actually.
So by no means would I call this a three person sauna.
I mean, there’s plenty of room for a full size adult like you just saw me sitting there.
And then I moved to this side and this is just a different perspective.
Each side has its own window.
This side has plenty of heater coverage all the way down.
There’s a tile floor for all your moisture control.
You don’t have to worry about anything seeping into the wood or having grates on the floor where everything that you sweat drips all over the heaters and you’re going to take it up and clean it and all that stuff.
And it’s the same, but this is the outside control panel.
It’s mirrored inside.
This is the door.
And this is what you saw when I was seated, the control panel, stereo, vents, color light therapy, which I guess I could turn that on.
The heaters don’t have to be on in order to run those lights.
But anyway, just got some really good feedback from Josh.
He loves the sauna, but definitely wishes it wouldn’t be portrayed as a three person.
And I completely agree.
This is a big sauna, but it’s not that big.
And that mark there is just, I didn’t take the warning sticker or whatever off right when I got it.
And it has like some adhesive on it because I used the sauna instead of taking it off right away.
But anyway, just wanted to make sure that I don’t want to mislead anybody regardless of whatever the model name is.
I mean, this is a beautiful sauna.
It’s my favorite sauna right now.
This is a modification, so that does not come with the sauna.
That’s just something I was working on to show people how to mount those bulbs in here.
If you want to, that is not factory supported.
It’s not recommended by any sauna companies.
Just something that I did.

And it’s really just a demonstration of how people can wire up stuff with a remote control that isn’t in the control panel built from the factory.
So, but anyway, don’t want to mislead anybody.
Want you guys to have an accurate description.
So what I’m going to do, what I’m going to do is have someone else film me so we can get the camera much farther away instead of this, this gimbal handheld thing.
Because the issue is if I set the camera up on a tripod and you don’t have it focused, you can’t see me move around.
It would be like this.
So we’ve got to have a guy running camera gear.
And what I’ll do is I’ll show you the space requirements for different sizes.
I’ll take you in the two person, the E2H, which is much different than this.
It’s basically this.
It’s basically this width.
There’s room for two people, but you’re side by side on the same plane.
And when I say on the same plane, I mean the same bench.
And so the thing that I like about the corner sauna, if you want to use this with a spouse, is when you’re in a two person rectangular sauna, there’s someone sitting right here, right?
So if you want to talk to them, it’s like this.
Otherwise, and if you don’t do that, it’s talking to somebody.
This is what it looks like when you’re having a conversation in the sauna.
It’s not very fun.
So it sounds silly.
It sounds completely ridiculous.
But if you use a sauna for two or three days in a row and your neck is like this the whole time where you don’t have kind of like your own space and you’re completely sweating and you’re touching elbows and all that, it’s really not that comfortable.
So a corner sauna is way more comfortable because now a person isn’t just on the same plane, they’re on that nine B.
So they’re sitting right here, right?
And so you can kind of talk back and forth without bending your neck all day and you don’t bump into each other, right?
And there’s plenty of space.
I mean, I have big feet.
There is plenty of space for another person to have their own area over there.
You get your own cup holders, you know, like I was showing before.
I mean, these are little things to some people, this is going to sound super nitpicky and ridiculous, but really if once you, if you were going to use this thing three or five times a week after about a year, these little nitpicky things really add up and the nicer it is, the more comfortable it is, the more you’ll enjoy it and the more you’ll use it, the more health benefits you’re going to get.
So I think these things are important and Josh is completely right.
I need to have more videos that talk about the sizing requirements and recommendations based on how tall you are, how many people are going to use it.
And something that I never really knew that he brought to my attention, pay attention to the model names that some of the sauna companies give to the saunas because it might give an impression that’s not accurate once you get it set up in your house.
So I will fix that.
And thanks to Josh for pointing it out.
I just never noticed before and I didn’t consider it, but in my opinion, this is definitely a two person sauna.
They may have a bigger one.
Maybe it’s called something else.
I’m not sure, but I’ll do my own videos that talk about the sizing.
I’ll even bring a tape measure in here.
I just need somebody to film it because I have broad shoulders.
I’m like much wider than most people.
And so if I can fit in here comfortably, as long as you’re smaller than me, you’re going to think it’s like, you know, ginormous, be like a Boeing, uh, what you would call it in here.
But, uh, the other thing that I was going to talk about, uh, we’ll save for a separate video.

Really just wanted to address this one particular thing, the sizing and make sure that no one is misled because that’s definitely not the goal.
